CLOSURE OF ACCRINGTON VICTORIA WALK IN CENTRE
The walk in centre at Accrington Victoria Hospital will close on SUNDAY 17th of JUNE 2018. You can visit your local pharmacy for advice on minor illnesses, telephone your GP surgery who will care navigate you through specialist training, our team can now offer more choice on who to see in the practice and help you get to the right health professional fast. Our care navigators never offer clinical advice or triage; this is about offering you the choice to see other more appropriate health professionals, often quicker and without the need to see the GP each time. For example, we often get calls that can be dealt with by an optician, the pharmacist, or the nurse, that you may not be aware of if you haven’t visited the practice in a while. For urgent medical advice please contact 111.
New patient registrations
Richmond Medical is currently registering patients - Please call into reception to collect a registration form.
We would really appreciate if patients attend our FLU clinics. We know that local pharmacies offer flu vaccinations and this may be more convenient for some of our patients, however we feel we offer more than just a vaccine, it offers us the opportunity to review your record and see if there is anymore we can offer you.
Please contact reception to book your appointment or just ask for one the next time you are in the surgery.
